Mailopoly is now an official app in the ChatGPT App Directory
Mailopoly has been approved and listed in the ChatGPT App Directory. That means you can now connect your inbox to ChatGPT the same way you'd add any official app — no developer mode, no pasting in a custom connector URL — and then talk to your real email, tasks, and bills directly inside a ChatGPT conversation.
Mailopoly already spoke MCP — the Model Context Protocol, the open standard assistants use to work with outside tools, so Claude, Claude Code, and other clients could connect from day one. Being in the ChatGPT App Directory makes the ChatGPT path a couple of taps instead of a setup task.
How to connect Mailopoly in ChatGPT
- Open the Apps directory in ChatGPT and search for Mailopoly — or go straight to the Mailopoly listing.
- Choose Connect and sign in with your Mailopoly account.
- Pick what it's allowed to do — reading, making changes, and sending are separate permissions you grant explicitly.
- Bring it into any conversation by typing @Mailopoly, then ask in plain language.
If you haven't set up Mailopoly yet, do that first — connecting ChatGPT signs you in, but Mailopoly needs your mailbox linked to have anything to work with. A free trial takes a few minutes and needs no credit card.
What ChatGPT can do once it's connected
The point of connecting through Mailopoly rather than a single mail provider is that one connection covers your whole email life. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and iCloud are searched together in a single pass, and the data arrives already understood — filtered, summarised, with amounts and due dates pulled out — not as a wall of raw messages. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT to:
- Search and read email across every connected account at once, or one at a time.
- Catch up on your Cleanbox — the clean feed of what actually matters, with the noise already set aside.
- Check My Day: the tasks, events, deliveries, and bills Mailopoly has extracted from your mail.
- See which invoices are due, with amounts and due dates, and track where your deliveries are.
- Draft replies, and save them to your real drafts to finish later.
- With the send permission, send email from any of your connected addresses — Gmail, Outlook, or your own @mly.life address.
Permissions, and what stays private
It's the same scoped, revocable sign-in you use to link Gmail in the first place. Reading, making changes, and sending are separate grants, so you can connect read-only and add sending later — or never. Every request the assistant makes is logged against your account, and you can revoke access at any time from Mailopoly or from ChatGPT. Mailopoly is SOC 2 Type II certified and never uses your email content to train AI models.
What it costs
The connection is included in every Mailopoly plan — there's no separate add-on. It works during the free trial, and an active subscription keeps the tools responding afterwards. If you're new here, start a free trial (no credit card), connect a mailbox, and you can be running your inbox from ChatGPT within minutes.
Prefer Claude, Claude Code, or another MCP client? They connect to the same account — the full connection guide is here.
