Connect your email to ChatGPT

ChatGPT can read, search and reply to your email through Mailopoly, an approved app in the ChatGPT app directory. Connect your mailbox to Mailopoly, add the Mailopoly app in ChatGPT, type @Mailopoly and ask. One connection covers every account you own — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and any IMAP mailbox — and on a Pro or Business plan your Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and X messages too. No developer mode is needed.

ChatGPT's built-in connectors cover Gmail and Outlook, one account each, on paid plans. Mailopoly is the route for everything else, and for people with more than one address: one app that gives ChatGPT every inbox you own, already sorted. Cleanbox separates the mail you'd want to read from the promotions, invoices and events are extracted on arrival, and replies go out from whichever address the conversation belongs to.

Setup is the same three steps for every provider. The only part that changes is how your mailbox connects to Mailopoly: Gmail and Outlook use a Google or Microsoft sign-in, and most other providers use an app password you generate in your account's security settings. Open the Apps directory in ChatGPT — from the + menu in any chat, or Settings → Apps & Connectors.
Search for Mailopoly and choose Connect.
Sign in with your Mailopoly account when prompted, then choose what ChatGPT is allowed to do. Reading, making changes and sending are separate permissions.
In any chat, type @Mailopoly and ask.

Mailopoly is an approved app in the ChatGPT app directory, so there's no developer mode and no endpoint URL to paste. Once connected it's available in every ChatGPT conversation on the web and in the mobile apps.

Whatever you've connected to Mailopoly is what ChatGPT can reach. Reading, making changes and sending are separate permissions, and you can revoke ChatGPT at any time from Settings → Security in the Mailopoly app — see the security page and the Mailopoly MCP page for other clients.
