Connect your email to Claude

Claude can read, search and reply to your email through Mailopoly, a connector listed in the Claude Connectors Directory. Connect your mailbox to Mailopoly, add the Mailopoly connector in Claude, and ask. One connection covers every account you own — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and any IMAP mailbox — and on a Pro or Business plan your Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and X messages too. It works on every Claude plan, including Free.

Claude has its own connectors for Gmail and for Microsoft 365 work accounts. They each see one account, and the Microsoft one doesn't accept personal Outlook.com or Hotmail addresses at all. Mailopoly is the other route: one connector that gives Claude everything that reaches you, already sorted. Cleanbox separates the mail you'd want to read from the promotions, invoices and events are extracted on arrival, and replies go out from whichever address the conversation belongs to.

Setup is the same three steps for every provider. The only part that changes is how your mailbox connects to Mailopoly: Gmail and Outlook use a Google or Microsoft sign-in, and most other providers use an app password you generate in your account's security settings. How to add Mailopoly to Claude

Add Mailopoly to Claude

Open Settings → Connectors on claude.ai or in the Claude app — or choose Add connectors from the + menu in any chat.
Search the directory for Mailopoly and choose Connect.
Sign in with your Mailopoly account when prompted, then choose what Claude is allowed to do. Reading, making changes and sending are separate permissions.
Back in the chat, make sure the Mailopoly connector is switched on, then ask.

Whatever you've connected to Mailopoly is what Claude can reach. Reading, making changes and sending are separate permissions, and you can revoke Claude at any time from Settings → Security in the Mailopoly app — see the security page and the Mailopoly MCP page for other clients.

Claude's Gmail connector gives Claude one Google account's raw messages. Mailopoly gives it every account you own in a single connection — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, IMAP — searched together in one pass, with Cleanbox filtering, extracted invoices and events, summaries and the ability to reply from whichever address fits. Claude's Microsoft 365 connector also only accepts work or school accounts; Mailopoly connects personal Outlook.com and Hotmail addresses as well.
