Connect your email to Grok
Grok can read, search and reply to your email through Mailopoly. Connect your mailbox to Mailopoly, add Mailopoly as a custom connector at grok.com/connectors, sign in and ask. One connection covers every account you own — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and any IMAP mailbox — and on a paid plan your Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and X messages too.
7-day free trial, no credit card.
Grok can reach the apps in its own connector catalog. Mailopoly is the route to your mail as a whole: one connector that gives Grok everything that reaches you, already sorted. Every address you own is searched in one pass, Cleanbox separates the mail you'd want to read from the promotions, invoices and events are extracted on arrival, and replies go out from whichever address the conversation belongs to.
Mailopoly isn't in Grok's catalog yet, so you add it as a custom connector — paste one address, then sign in. Nothing changes on the Mailopoly side if it's listed later.
This page is about Grok's chat — grok.com and the Grok apps. A Grok Bot takes the same connection from its own settings: see Connect Grok Bot to your email.
Setup is the same three steps for every provider. The only part that changes is how your mailbox connects to Mailopoly: Gmail and Outlook use a Google or Microsoft sign-in, and most other providers use an app password you generate in your account's security settings. Pick your provider below for the exact steps.

How to add Mailopoly to Grok
Add Mailopoly to Grok
- Go to grok.com/connectors.
- Choose New Connector, then Custom, and enter
https://fastapi.prod.aws.mailopoly.com/mcp-server/as the MCP server URL. If it asks for a name, use Mailopoly. - Sign in with your Mailopoly account when prompted, then choose what Grok is allowed to do. Reading, making changes and sending are separate permissions.
- Back in a chat, ask.
Grok takes Mailopoly as a custom connector, so the only thing to paste is one address. On Grok Business and Enterprise, an admin adds the connector for the team first in the xAI console. This is Grok's chat at grok.com and in the Grok apps; a Grok Bot is set up from the bot's own settings, and a connector added at grok.com doesn't reach it.
Whatever you've connected to Mailopoly is what Grok can reach. Reading, making changes and sending are separate permissions, and you can revoke Grok at any time from Settings → Security in the Mailopoly app — see the security page and the Mailopoly MCP page for other clients.
