Mailopoly is now in the Claude Connectors Directory — every inbox you own, two taps from Claude

By Patrick Culbert, Founder & CEO

Open Claude, type Mailopoly into the connector directory, and there we are. That's the whole announcement, and it's a bigger deal than it sounds — because until today, connecting your inbox to Claude meant knowing we existed, finding our endpoint URL, and pasting it into a custom-connector dialog. Now Mailopoly sits in Anthropic's Claude Connectors Directory alongside every other tool Claude can plug into. Search, Connect, sign in. Done.

And one listing covers every Claude you use. The same catalogue serves Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile, Claude Code, and Cowork — so wherever you happen to be working, your inbox is right there. Directory listings are also eligible for Claude's in-chat Suggested Connectors, which means Claude can offer Mailopoly up on its own when the answer you're hunting for is sitting in your email.

Here's the part we're actually excited about. What Claude gets through Mailopoly isn't one mailbox — it's everything that reaches you. Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo and any IMAP account, searched together in a single pass, and since business channels launched, your Slack, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Microsoft Teams and TikTok conversations too — those need a Pro or Business plan; email works on every plan. One connection. Every inbox. And it arrives already understood — filtered, summarised, amounts and due dates pulled out — not as a wall of raw messages for Claude to wade through.

Things to try the minute you're connected

  • “What did I miss today?” — a catch-up across every account and channel, grouped and summarised.
  • “Anything from the school?” — one search covers your work Outlook, your Gmail, and the Yahoo address you check twice a year.
  • “What's due this month?” — every invoice with its amount and due date, and a total.
  • “Summarise what happened in #launch this week.” — your Slack, in the same conversation as your email.
  • “Did that WhatsApp enquiry from Tuesday ever get an answer?” — and if it didn't, ask Claude to answer it.
  • “Reply to Sarah — Thursday works.” — drafted in your voice, sent from the right address, or saved to your real drafts if you'd rather read it first.

The email ones work on any plan. The Slack and WhatsApp ones are business channels, so they need a Pro or Business plan with that channel connected.

How to connect Mailopoly in Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors on claude.ai or in the Claude app — or hit + in any chat and choose Add connectors.
  2. Search for Mailopoly — or go straight to the Mailopoly listing.
  3. Choose Connect and sign in with your Mailopoly account.
  4. Pick what it's allowed to do — reading, making changes, and sending are separate permissions you grant explicitly.

On a Claude Team plan without permission to enable connectors, you'll see Request instead of Connect, which sends it to your admins to approve. And if you already added Mailopoly as a custom connector, nothing breaks — it keeps working on the endpoint it was installed with, and keeps showing under “Custom”. To move onto the directory listing, remove it and add it again from the directory.

Not set up yet? Do that first — connecting Claude signs you in, but Mailopoly needs your accounts linked to have anything to work with. A free trial takes a few minutes and needs no credit card.

About that “community” label

Mailopoly is listed as a community connector, and the word deserves five seconds of explanation because it does less work than people assume. In Anthropic's own words, the label “reflects how much review a connector has had, not how it works: verified and community connectors work the same way once connected.” Community connectors have passed Anthropic's automated checks; verified ones have additionally had a deeper review. Either way, every listing in the directory is bound by Anthropic's Software Directory Policy and Terms.

What it emphatically doesn't mean is that nobody has checked us. Mailopoly is a Google-verified OAuth provider, independently security-assessed to CASA Tier 2 by TAC Security, and a verified Meta Tech Provider for the Meta channels. The connection itself is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and scoped grants — reading, writing and sending are separate, and revocable from either end at any moment — every tool call is logged against your account, and your email content is never used to train AI models. What it costs

Nothing extra, ever. The MCP connection is included in every Mailopoly plan, works right through the free trial, and keeps responding as long as your subscription is active. It's your inbox — connecting your own assistant to it shouldn't cost a second subscription. Business channels are the one thing that isn't on every plan: Slack, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Teams and TikTok come with Pro and Business, and once they're connected there they're in the MCP too, at no extra cost. If you're new here, start a free trial, connect a mailbox, and you can be running your entire email life from Claude before your coffee goes cold.

Prefer ChatGPT? Mailopoly is an official app in the ChatGPT directory too — and because MCP is an open standard, the same account connects to Codex, Grok Build, or anything else that speaks it. The full connection guide is here.
